Metro MLS Updates- Don't be surprised!

Familiarize yourself with recent updates and learn about some of the new features coming to Flex soon.

Off MLS Practice

In response to the policy update last week, we have noticed an increase in the number of exclusions submitted to the MLS. The preferred method to input a property into MLS, where showings are not being held, is to withdraw the listing. Once the "Delayed" status is implemented, members should utilize this status.

Delayed Listing

"Delayed" shall be defined to be those listings which meet the following criteria:

  a. Seller and Realtor desire no showings for a limited time period due to sellers preparing the property for future showings, and

  b. Seller has consented to a marketing plan from Realtor intended on generating interest in the property but not having property available for current showings.

January Market Reports

It's already evident that 2015 will be marked by talk of changing mortgage rates and regulations. Rates should stay low, but consumers and finance experts alike believe that we're at or near rate bottoms.

Safety Alert

Metro MLS has become aware of recent reports of individuals attempting to access properties by pretending to be the assistant of another agent.
