BizTimes names Erika Zignego a Notable Executive Assistant - METRO MLS Blog

BizTimes Milwaukee has recognized Metro MLS’s Erika Zignego as a Notable Executive Assistant.

Zignego has worked as Metro MLS CEO Chris Carrillo’s executive assistant for five years. Besides assisting Carrillo, she is the vice president of accounting, oversees human resources and manages numerous Metro MLS programs.

“Erika is an unsung hero who plays a critical role in Metro MLS’s success and ability to impact the real estate industry locally and nationally,” Carrillo said. “Erika was a big proponent in implementing Metro MLS’s Teams program over the last year. The program makes it easier for brokerage team members to work together in the MLS system. More than 150 teams have signed up for the program so far.

“Erika is truly an advocate for our members and Metro MLS. She does a tremendous job of building relationships and assisting members with any questions to make sure they are satisfied with their membership.”

When the pandemic started, Zignego helped launch TrustFunds, an innovative and safe way to transfer property transaction funds. She also manages our photographer program, vetting and training photographers so they can reliably assist Realtors.

Besides her accomplishments, Erika is well respected and someone others seek to emulate. She pours herself into her position and always strives to learn more about the industry. She brings a tireless work ethic every day and always thinks about others before herself. If anyone needs assistance, she is always willing to help immediately, regardless of her workload.

Zignego is a model employee and a tremendous asset to Metro MLS and the Wisconsin real estate industry.

This is the first year BizTimes showcased Notable Executive Assistants in the Milwaukee area. The individuals awarded are unsung heroes who help keep their organizations running smoothly and play a crucial role in the success of their companies and their leaders.
