Chris Carrillo Re-Elected to RESO Board of Directors - METRO MLS Blog
Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) members have re-elected Metro MLS CEO Chris Carrillo to its Board of Directors for a third consecutive term. Carrillo will serve on the RESO Board of Directors through 2022.

The RESO Board of Directors is responsible for RESO’s governance and the organization’s strategic plan development. This position also allows Carrillo to bring together MLSs, brokers, and technology partners from across the country to modernize transactions and help the industry with greater efficiency.

“It is an honor and privilege to be re-elected for a third term,” Carrillo said. “I am happy with my participation that the state of Wisconsin is included in setting standards that drive efficiency in the marketplace.”

Carrillo has served as Metro MLS’s CEO since August 2011. He and Matt Consalvo, the CEO of ARMLS, formed the corporation MARKT LLC, the industry’s first non-contiguous joint venture, in March 2018. Carrillo also is a founder of MLS Aligned, a company created to address the data efficiency problems facing MLSs.

Besides RESO, Carrillo volunteers in various MLS leadership roles. He received the 2019 CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year award and is on the Swanepoel Power 200 Most Powerful People in Real Estate list.

RESO provides the foundation for streamlined real estate technology through the creation and certification of standards. Its member organizations include MLSs, brokerages, REALTOR® associations, and technology partners that serve more than one million real estate professionals.
