Flexmls allows members to search the Public Remarks for specific keywords. It is a convenient way to search for criteria that Flexmls doesn’t list in the search fields. It can also help expand your results when searching for a property detail that isn’t a required field when adding a listing.
The Public Remarks section allows the listing agent to write a descriptive paragraph that highlights the property and it’s surroundings. This is a useful field to search by, but is not part of the default search template.
How to Add Public Remarks to Your Search
Click Add a Field and then type Public Remarks in Find a field. Click Public Remarks once it appears.
If you want to search for a mother-in-law suite, you can type mother into the Public Remarks field. The search is not intuitive and matches the characters you typed against any listings with the same characters. Keep your searches simple and make sure your spelling is correct.
