Delayed listings in Metro MLS are visible in Flexmls portals and included in subscription emails. The change improves efficiency, increases transparency for clients and ensures delayed listings appear consistently with other on-market statuses in Flexmls. All existing rules for delayed status remain in effect.
Rules for Delayed Listings
Showings are not permitted while a listing is in delayed status. However, showings may be scheduled in advance for the date the listing becomes active, provided the appointment is on or after the start showing date.
Delayed listings are not included in IDX feeds by default. Only active, pending and sold listings are distributed through IDX. A brokerage may choose to include its own delayed listings in its IDX feed. Delayed listings have always been included in virtual office website data feeds and will continue to be.
Delayed listings appear in subscriptions and portals for both Metro MLS and WIREX listings. They also appear in the Flexmls news feed if that option is selected in the search criteria.
