If you’ve tried uploading HEIC photos to Flexmls recently, you may have noticed they aren’t working as expected. This issue is affecting users across the platform, preventing some listings from displaying images correctly. While the Flexmls team works to resolve the problem, the current workaround is to convert your HEIC photos to JPEG before uploading.
How to Covert Photos from HEIC to JPEG
You can convert HEIC to JPG by using built-in apps like Preview on Mac or Photos on Windows, using a dedicated converter tool, or by using a website. To do this, open the HEIC file, choose to export or save as, select JPG as the format, and save the new file.
On Mac:
- Open the HEIC file with the Preview app.
- Go to File > Export.
- Choose JPG from the “Format” dropdown menu.
- Save the file in your desired location.
On Windows:
- Open the HEIC file with the Photos app.
- Select the image, and click the ellipsis (…) or Open.
- Choose Save As and select JPG as the format.
- Click Save.
