Let’s review how to successfully add photos or other media to your live listing in Flexmls. After adding the general listing information, photos and media are usually the last step. If you added your listing and it has an assigned MLS ID number but you forgot to add photos or media, this is an easy fix.
Here are the steps to add photos/media:
- Click Menu
- Select Change below Add/Change
- Select the listing or search by MLS #
- Click Photos from the Media options
- Select Add Photos in the upper right
- Choose your photo files to upload the photos
Please note, there is no Save button. Photos displayed on the screen are automatically saved to the listing. Additionally, you have seven days to add a listing photo and at least one should be an exterior photo (preferably selected as the main photo). An images vertical orientation will default at 400 x 500 pixels, and the landscape orientation, which is the preferred orientation, will default at 520 x 320 pixels. Additionally, an exterior photo is required for residential listings.
As a reminder, please note that personal, business or office/company franchise branding of any kind is not permitted on photos in MLS. Photos that contain virtual staging must disclose the existence of the virtual staging in Public Remarks. You cannot copy any photos from other brokerages without permission first.
Lastly, any videos and virtual tours with branding on it are required to be marked as branded in Flexmls.
