Exciting events await you this summer. From vibrant festivals to thrilling outdoor events, there are activities that cater to all interests and ages. So grab your sunscreen, embrace the warm sunshine and immerse yourself in the endless possibilities that await you this summer in Wisconsin.

Below are activities to do in the Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties over the next few weeks. These events are in addition to the fireworks shows happening around the Fourth of July.

Milwaukee County

Summerfest – June 29-July 1 & July 6-8: The World’s Largest Music Festival is a Milwaukee staple during the summer. Two weekends are left to get to the lakefront and enjoy music across 11 stages while enjoying food and beverages. 

Jazz in the Park – July 6: Jazz in the Park in downtown Milwaukee is the largest weekly free music venue. It attracts up to 5,000 people per week. The event is at Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Park.

Cubs vs. Brewers – July 3-6: There is no better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than enjoying America’s pastime. The rivals will square off in a four-game series at American Family Field.

Ozaukee County

PWSB Fredonia Backyard Bash to Benefit NOSD – July 6: Meet Milwaukee Brewers player Owen Miller, play lawn games with Gill from the Lakeshore Chinooks, enter to win baseball prizes and enjoy a brat from the brat fry that benefits the backyard renovations at Northern Ozaukee Schools.

Maxwell St. Days in Cedarburg – July 9: Cedarburg’s popular flea market features hundreds of vendors with a varied selection of antiques, collectibles, crafts, fine arts, pottery, fresh produce, seasonal items, sports memorabilia, architectural/industrial items, flea market items and more.

Fire up the Forge – July 9: The Ozaukee County Historical Society is holding a blacksmith event with demonstrations by blacksmiths with their unique iron artistry style. The public can try their hand at the hammer and anvil, making a project to take home.

Sheboygan County

Ducktona & Family Festival – July 2: Car show, duck race, food, drinks, children’s activities, and live music at the River Park in Sheboygan Falls.

Venetian Boat Parade – July 3: Decked out in lights, the annual boat parade kicks off the Independence Day celebration! It starts at dusk along the Sheboygan riverfront.

Walworth County

East Troy First Fridays Wet N Wild(ish) – July 7: East Troy’s First Fridays event series will continue with “Wet N Wild(ish).” The event features a party featuring inflatables, a DJ, food trucks, beer tent, yard games, kids water fun zone, artisans, makers and more!

Cars Time Forgot – July 8-9: At Lake Lawn Airport, across from beautiful Delavan Lake and Lake Lawn Resort, see over 1,000 cars during this popular car show in Delavan. 

Washington County

West Bend Farmer’s Market – July 1 & July 8: One of Wisconsin’s most popular farmer’s markets is located in downtown West Bend. There are over 90 vendors, including local farmers, food producers, live entertainment, educational programs, artisans and more.

44th Annual Slinger National – July 11: Prestigious event draws the best asphalt racers from around the country at Slinger Speedway.

Waukesha County

Friday Night Live – June 30: The Friday Night Live outdoor music event occurs every summer Friday night in downtown Waukesha. Thousands of people come to enjoy the weather, dining, shopping and a wide variety of live music as Waukesha closes down the streets for the musical festival.

Pewaukee Lake Waterski Show – July 4: The Pewaukee Lake Waterski Show features water skiing acts such as pyramids, lady’s ballet line, trick skiing, barefooting and short skits accompanied by fun, energetic music.
