We’ve made several updates to Aligned Showings to simplify scheduling and enhance your daily workflow. From adding past appointments to merging duplicate listings, everything’s designed to save you time.
Here is a look at a few of the recent updates in Aligned Showings:
Ability to add a past appointment
Listing agents can now add a past appointment in Aligned Showings. This allows for accurate records and reports. To add a past appointment, first select My Listings. Select the Add Past Showing icon on the listing. Select whether to schedule it on behalf of another agent, then select the date and showing type and click Next. Select the time the showing occurred and the length of the showing and click Next, then Send to save the past appointment.
If the past appointment is not scheduled on behalf of an agent, the listing agent will show as both the showing agent and listing agent.
Once a past appointment is added:
- Messages – An approved showing is created in Messages. Both the listing and showing side can see the appointment and communicate about it.
- Calendar – The showing is added to the Calendar for all parties involved.
- Seller/Tenant – The showing is added to the seller/tenant’s list of showings on their link.
- Feedback – A feedback request is sent out and the listing agent can record feedback.
- Reports – The showing is added to reports.
Showing notifications are not sent out for past appointments, but feedback notifications are sent out. Since notifications are not sent out, the calendar attachment is not sent, but it can be added by viewing the appointment details and selecting the Add to Calendar button.
Improved way to view feedback surveys
There are new feedback tabs in Messages to help agents find messages that contain feedback or are waiting for feedback.
- Select the Feedback tab to filter messages to only display showing conversations that have showing feedback.
- Select the Waiting for Feedback tab to filter messages to only display showing conversations that are waiting for feedback. This makes it easy for listing agents to find those showings they would like to nudge for feedback responses, or for showing agents to easily locate showings they have not yet sent feedback on.
Ability to merge two listings with the same address
Aligned Showings can now merge two listings with the same address, making one the primary listing for showing requests. This prevents a listing from being booked under both MLS IDs, and keeps the showing appointments all together under one listing for accurate records and reports. It allows the listing agent to choose the primary listing, and all showing requests will then be directed to that listing.
To merge a listing, go to My Listings, select the Merge Listing icon on one of the listings to merge and then select the listing with the same address. You can then select the listing that is the primary listing. Listings can be unmerged by going to My Listings and selecting the Unmerge listing icon for the listing.
Once the listings have been merged, showing requests that come in for the non-primary listing will be directed to the primary listing.
