If you need to delete a map overlay or find the shape you drew is in need of improvement, this article is for you! Previously we learned how to Create Your Custom Map Overlay and how to Search the Flexmls Map with Custom Overlays. Let’s learn how to edit and delete map overlays.
To start, go to Menu, under Preferences, and select My Map Overlays. Here you will find a list of all the custom map overlays you’ve created.
Deleting My Map Overlays
To remove any of the map overlays, select the overlay to remove, and click remove. A pop-up box will appear confirming the removal process. Select REMOVE. Finally, a green pop-up will confirm that the overlay has been removed.
Editing My Map Overlays
To edit a map overlay, follow the same path: go to Menu, under Preferences, and select My Map Overlays.
Here you will find a list of all the custom map overlays you’ve created. To edit, select your desired map overlay and click EDIT. Once the overlay is displayed on the map, click inside the shape, and click edit.
Here you can change the color or edit the shape by clicking Edit Shape.
Use the gold bubbles to make adjustments.
Click Leave Edit Shape Mode, then click SAVE at the top right. In the pop-up box, select the existing overlay that has been edited and click SAVE. Finally, a green pop-up will confirm that the overlay edit is complete.
