Chris Lambrou, Metro MLS Interim CEO
“Chris Lambrou is a proven leader with a deep understanding of the MLS industry,” said Joe Horning, Metro MLS Chairman. “As we transition, we are confident that Chris will provide strong leadership and continuity while we conduct a thorough search for a permanent CEO.”
Lambrou has over 26 years of experience in the multiple listing service industry. Since April 2016, he has served as Metro MLS’s Chief Information Officer, leading the organization’s modernization efforts and driving innovation in technology and internal operations.
“I am honored and eager to step into this role during this transition period,” Lambrou said. “I look forward to working closely with our team, participants and key stakeholders to ensure stability and continued success. My leadership approach is rooted in a service-first mindset and a results-driven focus, both of which will guide me during this important time for Metro MLS.”
Beyond his work at Metro MLS, Lambrou has been a driving force behind MLS Aligned, a collaboration among six forward-thinking MLSs focused on developing MLS technology. He led the development and launch of Aligned Showings, a modern showing and scheduling platform serving over 150,000 users nationwide. Recognized for his contributions to real estate technology, he was recently named an RISMedia 2025 Newsmakers “Futurist.”
Lambrou is also deeply involved in the broader technology community. He chairs workgroups for the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and serves on the University of Wisconsin–Parkside Customer Experience Advisory Board.
He is also an established national speaker, having presented at industry events such as Inman, CMLS and RESO, and delivered talks at institutions including Northwestern University, New York University, Marquette University and through MIT webinars.
“His expertise in technology has been instrumental in shaping Metro MLS into a leading MLS and trusted resource for our members,” Horning said.
Metro MLS will conduct a national search for its permanent CEO.
